About me:

I’m Ashley, an avid equestrian, amateur artist, photographer and writer, and a devotee of quality style. The Horse and Habit is a showcase of my favorite things.

I’m a life-long equestrian, having started in Pony Club on a plucky gray pony, Tidbit, and switching to Hunter Jumpers as a teenager. I love the thrill of eventing, the beauty of fox hunting and the precision of hunters, jumpers and equitation. After a pause for college and city living in New York, I returned to riding with a fresh take on the equestrian way of life. I am now {slowly} bringing along my young Hanoverian mare.
